We welcome groups out to the farm year-round for an AG-VENTURE full of fun, educational experiences, and the beautiful outdoors. There are two field trips options to choose from: Premium Field Trips and Basic Field Trips (both described in detail below!)
Educational tours operate Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays with select specialty days on Wednesdays.

PREMIUM FIELD TRIPS
Hubb’s Farm Premium Field Trips are thoughtfully planned, highly organized experiences backed by nearly 20 years of working with schools. Designed for groups seeking a smooth, well-managed visit, these trips feature intentional scheduling, clear communication, and staff oversight across the farm.
Before each visit, we coordinate key details like arrival time, group size, student ages, lunch plans, and departure time to ensure proper staffing, traffic flow, and prepared spaces. Each trip is overseen by a dedicated field trip coordinator, with staff fully briefed in advance.
With over 50 acres to explore, groups typically spend 3–4 hours on the farm, with flexibility to accommodate schedule changes. Our focus is always on safety, organization, and creating a positive experience for students and teachers.
Spring Premium Field Trips may include hands-on learning experiences such as the Sprout House, Gem Mining, Swine Production & Industry, or the Nature Trail.

NC FARM ESCAPES
Dive into a tailored Farm Experience designed for the older crowd and adult groups for additional $5 and up (depending on the tour desired). Give us a call for the exciting details!
All about the bacon - pork industry educational tour
Join an agricultural discussion on the pork industry's importance, processes, and economic impact in North Carolina, the country, and globally. Visit the repurposed hog house, lagoon, and more, and receive a Hubb's Farm String Bag for an additional $5.
BASIC FIELD TRIPS
Basic Field Trips at Hubb's Farm offer a more flexible, lower-cost option for schools that prefer a self-guided experience. These visits allow groups to explore the farm at their own pace without the advance planning, coordination, or structured on-farm flow included with Premium Field Trips.
Basic Field Trip groups enjoy access to many of the farm’s core attractions and may arrive during their scheduled window and explore independently. Hubb’s Farm staff are present throughout the farm, but Basic Field Trips do not include coordinated scheduling, structured rotations, or dedicated oversight.
