There once was a time when farmers and area neighbors gathered frequently at the local general store. A time before
telephones, a time before computers, and time before big warehouse stores came along.
Local country stores provided much more than just a few groceries. It was where the neighbors gathered to learn and to
share news (some may say gossip), trade/barter products & services, discuss politics, and most importantly to help one
another in times of need. Some things change, but some things remain the same.
Catch a glimpse of those yesteryears at the 1st Annual SAMCO Antiques Festival. Visit dealers with pickup trucks,
trailers, and vans packed with antiques and collectibles. Shop SAMCO Antiques Festival and you will surely find the
perfect treasure for any gift giving occasion, especially the one that prefers vintage over new.
