Clinton family turns Hubb’s Farm into corn maze carnival
Farming is in Tammy Peterson’s blood. Her grandfather, Charles Marion Butler Sr.; and her father and mother, James Hubbard Butler and Sue Butler; grew tobacco, corn, soy beans and other crops on their Sampson County land. In all, Peterson said, the farm goes back five generations in her family.

Hubb’s Farm 2019 Fall Festival Season begins Saturday, Sept. 14th at 12 p.m. Don’t miss the opening weekend of this year’s maze design, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing! Hubb’s Corn Maze covers more than 10 acres and includes several separate mazes of varying skill levels. Each maze has its own interactive scavenger hunt within. Hubb’s Farm mazes are excellent interactive activities sure to challenge even the best navigators and provide great fun for all.

AFTER visiting Lucky Ladds in Tennessee and Maize Quest farms in Pennsylvania on our farm tour last Sunday we were very fortunate with both weather and hospitality when visiting Tammy and John Peterson’s Hubbs Farm in North Carolina.

Hubb’s Farm is more than just a corn maze, or a pumpkin patch, or an agricultural center – but a self-proclaimed ‘agri-tourism’ theme park taking a day of ‘fun on the farm’ to a whole new level.

5 bikes and 7 riders enjoyed a beautiful day of riding through some of the best back roads in several counties. We started out from the Kangaroo ready to have some fun in the sun rolling out onto 132 to 117 and working our way over to 133 then kicked it into high gear down 210 just leaning through the curves and enjoying the smells of the countryside.

Mom on the Go: Day at Hubb's Corn Maze
One of our favorite pumpkin patches in the area, Hubb’s Corn Maze is a go to for fall and Christmas activities. We went the Saturday before last to enjoy Pirate Invasion weekend and not only was it a picturesque day, the farm has added even more than in years past making it well worth the drive.
