Fall Festival, Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

Our 2019 Fall Festival begins Saturday, Sept. 14th at 12 p.m. Don’t miss the opening weekend of this year’s maze design, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing! Hubb’s Corn Maze covers more than 10 acres and includes several separate mazes of varying skill levels. Each maze has its own interactive scavenger hunt within. Our mazes are excellent interactive activities sure to challenge even the best navigators and provide great fun for all.

Although the maze is a favorite destination for Hubb’s Farm guests, you don’t want to miss out on our fall pumpkin patch! We also have more than 20 additional activities that all ages can enjoy.

Themed Weekend Events

Hay Bales and Hoofs Festival

September 21 and 22

Saturday: 12 p.m. – 7 p.m
Sunday: 1 p.m. – 6 p .m.

Join in the fun with tractor-pulled hayrides, a miniature hay bale maze, and a chance at fun challenges such as finding a “needle in a haystack”!

Our Third Annual Hay Bale Decorating Contest will feature groups competing for prize money and farm passes by decorating bales that will remain on the farm all season long for visitors to view. And let’s not forget the hoofs — Enter our first Stick Pony “Rodeo” Fun Challenge. This event is for all ages and will be held Saturday!

Hubb’s Farm Donut Festival

September 28 and 29

Saturday: 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Donut-eating contest and games the whole family will enjoy!

Miss Stars and Sprinkles Donut Princess Pageant Saturday; followed by Mr. Galaxy Glaze Donut Prince Pageant. Registration deadline: Saturday, September 28 by 3:30 p.m. Pageant begins at 4:00 p.m.

“Thank a Farmer” Ag Weekend

October 4, 5, and 6

Friday: 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Saturday: 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
All ages – wear overalls and get $1 off admission.

Going to the grocery store is easy, so we may not always think about the hard work that goes into growing our food. “Thank a Farmer” Ag Weekend is all about appreciating those who accept the responsibility of working the land and producing food for the world. Experience a bit of the farm life and see tractor displays from Sampson County’s Antique Tractor Club on Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m.

Our Miss Pumpkin Princess Pageant will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, followed by the Mr. Pumpkin Prince Pagaent. Join in the fun! Registration deadline Saturday, October 5th by 1:30 p.m. pageant begins at 2:00 p.m.

Come out on Sunday and see the Antique Tractor parade.

First Responders Weekend

October 11, 12, and 13

Friday: 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Saturday: 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
First Responders receive 1 FREE Bronze Pass – must present appropriate ID. Family receives $2.00 off pass.

Our First Responders Weekend honors those hometown heroes who often risk their lives to save others. Stop by and offer a “thank you” to these special guests. Red Cross Bloodmobile on-site Oct. 12, with FREE Silver Pass for blood donors.

Freedom USA Weekend

October 18, 19, and 20

Friday: 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Saturday: 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Military receive 1 FREE Bronze pass – must present appropriate ID. Family receives $2.00 off pass.

Join us as we salute the courageous veterans, military, and military families who sacrifice daily to keep us safe and free. Sampson County Veterans office on-site Saturday & Sunday, 1 – 5 p.m.

Celebrate Halloween at Hubb’s

October 25, 26, and 27

Friday: 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Saturday: 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.

3 p.m. | Airplane ping-pong drop

Ages 10 and under may register for the Halloween Costume Contest Saturday. Boys and girls will compete together in the same category. Registration Deadline: Saturday, October 26 by 3:30 p.m. Contest begins at 4:00 p.m.

4 p.m. | Magic Show

From the littlest goblins to the oldest, everyone will love Halloween at Hubb’s!  On Saturday, Power’s Flying Services will thrill spectators with a ping-pong ball drop at 3 p.m., with ages 12 and under eligible to collect the balls and hope to win a prize! Tricks and treats will be available on the farm from 1 to 5 p.m.

At sunset Saturday, children 12 and under may board the Rocket Man Hubb’s Express. And while you’re here, don’t miss the chance to get lost in the “past dark” flashlight maze!

Tough as a Farmer Weekend

November 2 and 3

Saturday: 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.

TAAF Competition begins at 2 p.m. (Rain date is Sunday at 2 p.m.)

Sunday: 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Bring Your Pet Day (Click Here for List of Approved Pets)

So you think you’re tough… but are you as tough as a farmer? Join Hubb’s for our 5th Annual Tough as a Farmer Competition Saturday, November 2. Once you’ve completed this agriculture-themed farm Ninja warrior challenge, you’ll know just how tough a farmer must be. Competition will begin at 2 with female contestants and the men’s competition will follow. Registration will begin online Sept. 15; fee is $35 through Oct. 31, and $40 after Oct. 31. Registration includes Tough as a Farmer T-shirt, competition, and a Silver Pass.

1st and 2nd place winners in the men’s and women’s divisions will win a prize. First place is $500, and second place is $250. Rain date is Sunday, November 3.

As fall comes to an end, we’re going out with a SMASH! On Sunday, November 3, Hubb’s guests will have the opportunity to smash pumpkins while supplies last. Open from  noon – 6 p.m., so get here early!

Fire Pit Pricing

$35/2 hours (includes firewood and one table)

  • Fire is lit and ready to go
  • 6-foot picnic table at each pit
  • Guided Snipe Quest for kids available for an additional fee; inquire at time of reservation. Snipe Quest lasts 15-30 minutes, depending on group size; minimum of $25, or $3 per participant.

Additional Information

  • Bring pop-up chairs for sitting
  • You may bring your own food (no alcohol allowed)
  • S’mores supplies and roasting sticks available for purchase at the farm store
  • For the safety of our guests, we will light the fire and control its size and the amount of wood that is placed in each fire pit.
