Pumpkin Power Tour

Tuesday-Friday by appointment
$10 per person

Is it a vegetable or a fruit? During the Pumpkin Power Tour, students will learn all about pumpkins and how they are grown, harvested and consumed. Emphasis will be on the life cycle of the pumpkin and common vegetables, as well as the amazing fact that pumpkins are considered a nutritional powerhouse. After the class discussion, students will visit a pumpkin sensory STEM station for hands-on learning.

Tour includes:

  • Education Hubb: Approximately 1.5 hours
  • Classroom – Age-appropriate lesson
  • Animal Acres
  • Themed Character Trait Maze Trail
  • LetterLand/Commodity Trail
  • Tractor-drawn Wagon Ride
  • Other Interactive Stations

As time allows, students can explore Crops of Fun PlayLand, enjoy the Picnic Pavilion and have access to this year’s corn maze.

Each student receives a pumpkin, an educational activity book to reinforce lessons learned, and one free return pass for any fall weekend event.
